Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: June 7, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Troja, operated by FounderGem LLC. It is part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service you agree to this AUP. Report abuse or ask questions at [email protected].

1. Scanning authorization (read this first)

Troja actively probes websites for security and configuration issues. You may only scan domains, subdomains, IP addresses, and endpoints that you own or for which you have explicit, written authorization to test.

  • You represent and warrant that, for every target you submit, you are the owner or have obtained prior written permission from the owner to run automated security and SEO scans.
  • Scanning, probing, or testing third-party systems without authorization is strictly prohibited and may violate computer-misuse laws (such as the U.S. Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and equivalent laws elsewhere).
  • We may require domain verification before certain scans and may log the targets you submit.
  • You are solely responsible for any unauthorized scanning conducted through your account. You agree to indemnify FounderGem LLC for any claims arising from it.

If you are unsure whether you are authorized to scan a target, do not scan it.

2. Prohibited conduct

You must not use the Service to:

  • scan or attack systems you do not own or are not authorized to test;
  • launch denial-of-service attacks, brute-force credentials, or otherwise attempt to disrupt any system;
  • exfiltrate, exploit, or weaponize vulnerabilities found through the Service against any party;
  • circumvent, disable, or reverse engineer the Service, its rate limits, or its scan engines;
  • access another user's account or scan data without permission;
  • upload malware or use the Service to distribute malicious content;
  • violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right; or
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent.

3. Responsible disclosure

If you discover a vulnerability in your own systems using Troja, you are responsible for remediating it lawfully. If you discover a vulnerability in Troja itself, please report it responsibly to [email protected] and give us a reasonable time to fix it before any disclosure.

4. Fair use and rate limits

To protect the Service and target systems, we enforce reasonable rate limits and concurrency caps. Do not attempt to evade them. Automated or high-volume use beyond your plan's limits may be throttled or suspended.

5. Data you submit

You are responsible for ensuring that the URLs, content, and data you submit do not infringe rights or contain unlawful material, and that you have any necessary consents to process them.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, throttle activity, or report unlawful conduct to authorities. Violations of the scanning-authorization rule in Section 1 may result in immediate termination without refund.

7. Changes

We may update this AUP to address new abuse patterns or legal requirements. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
